Visit Kinomiya Shrine

A popular spiritual spot is Kinomiya Shrine.
The shrine is believed to be over 1,000 years old.
It is dedicated to the Shinto deity Okuninushi-no-Mikoto, who is known as the god of good fortune, health, and relationships.

Kinomiya Shrine is especially famous for its sacred camphor tree called Kinomiya Sacred Camphor Tree, which is more than 2,000 years old.

People believe that walking around the tree once will bring a longer life and good luck.

Around Atami Station
